T he magicians tried with their enchantments to produce lice, but they couldn’t. There were lice on man, and on animal.

وَحاوَلَ السَّحَرَةُ أنْ يُخْرِجُوا القَملَ بِسِحْرِهِمْ، فَلَمْ يَقْدِرُوا، بَلِ انتَشَرَ القَملُ عَلَى النّاسِ وَالحَيَواناتِ.
