M oses and Aaron went in to Pharaoh, and they did so, as Yahweh had commanded: and Aaron cast down his rod before Pharaoh and before his servants, and it became a serpent.

Entonces Moisés y Aarón fueron a hablar con el faraón, e hicieron lo que el Señor les había ordenado: Aarón arrojó su vara delante del faraón y de sus siervos, y ésta se convirtió en culebra.
