P haraoh commanded all his people, saying, “You shall cast every son who is born into the river, and every daughter you shall save alive.”

ثُمَّ أصدَرَ فِرعَوْنُ أمراً لِشَعبِهِ وَقالَ: «كُلُّ وَلَدٍ يُولَدُ لِلعِبْرانِيِّينَ، ألقُوهُ فِي نَهرِ النِّيلِ، وَاسْتَبقُوا حَياةَ البَناتِ فَقَطْ.»
