Esther 2:8 ~ Ester 2:8

S o, when the king’s commandment and his decree was heard, and when many maidens were gathered together to the citadel of Susa, to the custody of Hegai, Esther was taken into the king’s house, to the custody of Hegai, keeper of the women.

Sucedió, pues, que cuando se divulgó el mandamiento del rey y su ley, y siendo reunidas muchas jóvenes en Susa, el palacio, a cargo de Hegai, fue tomada también Ester para casa del rey, al cuidado de Hegai, guarda de las mujeres.
