S o the Levites stilled all the people, saying, “Hold your peace, for the day is holy; neither be grieved.”

وَكانَ اللّاوِيُّونَ يُهَدِّئُونَ الشَّعبَ بِقَولِهِمْ: «اسْكُتُوا وَلا تَحزَنُوا، فَهَذا يَوْمٌ مُخَصَّصٌ للهِ.»
