a nd that we would not give our daughters to the peoples of the land, nor take their daughters for our sons;

قالُوا: «نَعِدُ بِأنْ لا نُزَوِّجَ بَناتَنا لِلشُّعُوبِ الأُخرَى فِي الأرْضِ، وَألّا نُزَوِّجَ أبناءَنا مِنْ بَناتِهِمْ.
