T hey said to me, “The remnant who are left of the captivity there in the province are in great affliction and reproach. The wall of Jerusalem also is broken down, and its gates are burned with fire.”

Und sie sprachen zu mir: Die übrigen von der Gefangenschaft sind daselbst im Lande in großem Unglück und Schmach; die Mauern Jerusalems sind zerbrochen und seine Tore mit Feuer verbrannt.
