S olomon had four thousand stalls for horses and chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen, that he stationed in the chariot cities, and with the king at Jerusalem.

Salomon avait quatre mille crèches pour les chevaux destinés à ses chars, et douze mille cavaliers qu'il plaça dans les villes où il tenait ses chars et à Jérusalem près du roi.
