T herefore he brought on them the king of the Chaldeans, who killed their young men with the sword in the house of their sanctuary, and had no compassion on young man or virgin, old man or gray-headed: he gave them all into his hand.

Entonces Dios hizo subir contra ellos al rey de los Caldeos, que mató a espada a sus jóvenes en la casa de su santuario, y no tuvo compasión del joven ni de la virgen, del viejo ni del débil; a todos ellos los entregó en su mano.
