N ow from the time that Amaziah turned away from following Yahweh, they made a conspiracy against him in Jerusalem. He fled to Lachish; but they sent after him to Lachish, and killed him there.

Desde o tempo em que Amazias se desviou do Senhor, conspiraram contra ele em Jerusalém, e ele fugiu para Laquis; mas perseguiram-no até Laquis, e ali o mataram.
