N ow when Athaliah the mother of Ahaziah saw that her son was dead, she arose and destroyed all the royal offspring of the house of Judah.

وَلَمّا رَأتْ عَثَلْيا أُمُّ أخَزْيا أنَّ ابْنَها قَدْ ماتَ، قَتَلَتْ جَمِيعَ أحفادِها أبناءِ المَلكِ فِي يَهُوذا.
