H aven’t you driven out the priests of Yahweh, the sons of Aaron, and the Levites, and made priests for yourselves after the ways of the peoples of other lands? so that whoever comes to consecrate himself with a young bull and seven rams, the same may be a priest of those who are no gods.

Non avete voi forse scacciato i sacerdoti dell'Eterno, i figli di Aaronne, e i Leviti e non vi siete costituiti sacerdoti come i popoli degli altri paesi? Cosí chiunque viene con un giovane torello e con sette montoni per essere consacrato, può divenire sacerdoti di quelli che non sono dèi.
