N ow a certain woman of the wives of the sons of the prophets cried out to Elisha, saying, “Your servant my husband is dead. You know that your servant feared Yahweh. Now the creditor has come to take for himself my two children to be slaves.”

La viuda de uno de los profetas presentó a Eliseo la siguiente súplica: «Mi esposo, siervo tuyo, ha muerto. Tú bien sabes que él era temeroso del Señor. Pero nuestro acreedor ha venido ahora y quiere llevarse a mis dos hijos para venderlos como esclavos.»
