J ehoiakim gave the silver and the gold to Pharaoh; but he taxed the land to give the money according to the commandment of Pharaoh. He exacted the silver and the gold of the people of the land, from everyone according to his assessment, to give it to Pharaoh Necoh.

Iehoiachim i-a dat faraonului aurul şi argintul, însă el a împovărat ţara pentru a putea da argintul cerut de faraon. A hotărât fiecărui om o anumită parte, dând astfel faraonului Neco argintul şi aurul luat de la poporul ţării. Domnia lui Iehoiachim peste Iuda
