H ezekiah king of Judah sent to the king of Assyria to Lachish, saying, “I have offended you. Return from me. That which you put on me, I will bear.” The king of Assyria appointed to Hezekiah king of Judah three hundred talents of silver and thirty talents of gold.

Pelo que Ezequias, rei de Judá, enviou ao rei da Assíria, a Laquis, dizendo: Pequei; retira-te de mim; tudo o que me impuseres suportarei. Então o rei da Assíria impôs a Ezequias, rei de Judá, trezentos talentos de prata e trinta talentos de ouro.
