T he king of Assyria brought men from Babylon, from Cuthah, from Avva, and from Hamath and Sepharvaim, and placed them in the cities of Samaria instead of the children of Israel; and they possessed Samaria, and lived in its cities.

Împăratul Asiriei a adus oameni din Babilon, din Cuta, din Ava, din Hamat şi din Sefarvayim şi i-a aşezat în cetăţile Samariei, în locul israeliţilor. Ei au luat în stăpânire Samaria şi au locuit în cetăţile ei.
