T hen Rezin king of Syria and Pekah son of Remaliah king of Israel came up to Jerusalem to wage war. They besieged Ahaz, but could not overcome him.

Atunci Reţin, regele Aramului, şi Pekah, fiul lui Remalia, regele lui Israel, au pornit război împotriva Ierusalimului. L-au asediat pe Ahaz, dar nu l-au putut învinge.
