W hen Joab and all the army who was with him had come, they told Joab, “Abner the son of Ner came to the king, and he has sent him away, and he has gone in peace.”

Quando Ioab e tutta la gente che era con lui furono arrivati, qualcuno portò la notizia a Ioab, dicendo: «Abner, figlio di Ner, è venuto dal re, il quale lo ha lasciato andare, ed egli se n’è andato in pace».
