J oab gave up the sum of the numbering of the people to the king: and there were in Israel eight hundred thousand valiant men who drew the sword; and the men of Judah were five hundred thousand men.

وَأعطى يوآبُ المَلِكَ لائِحةً بعددِ الشَّعبِ: كانَ في إسْرائِيلَ ثَمانُ مِئِةِ ألْفِ رَجُلٍ قادِرينَ عَلَى اسْتِعْمالِ السَّيفِ، وفي يَهُوذا خَمْسُ مِئَةِ ألْفٍ. اللهُ يُعاقِبُ داود
