A bner said again to Asahel, “Turn aside from following me. Why should I strike you to the ground? How then could I look Joab your brother in the face?”

وعاد أبْنَيْرُ يقولُ لَهُ: «كُفَّ عَنْ مُطارَدَتي وَإلّا اضْطُرِرْتُ إلَى قَتلِكَ. حينَها لَنْ أقْدِرَ عَلَى النَّظَرِ فِي وَجْهِ أَخيكَ يُوآبَ بَعْدَ اليوْمِ.»
