i n that you love those who hate you, and hate those who love you. For you have declared today, that princes and servants are nothing to you. For today I perceive that if Absalom had lived, and all we had died today, then it would have pleased you well.

al amar a aquéllos que lo odian y al odiar a aquéllos que lo aman. Pues hoy ha demostrado que príncipes y siervos no son nada para usted; porque ahora en este día sé que si Absalón estuviera vivo y todos nosotros hoy estuviéramos muertos, entonces usted estaría complacido.
