M ephibosheth the son of Saul came down to meet the king; and he had neither groomed his feet, nor trimmed his beard, nor washed his clothes, from the day the king departed until the day he came home in peace.

Também Mefibosete, filho de Saul, desceu a encontrar-se com o rei, e não cuidara dos pés, nem fizera a barba, nem lavara as suas vestes desde o dia em que o rei saíra até o dia em que voltou em paz.
