T he king commanded Joab and Abishai and Ittai, saying, “Deal gently for my sake with the young man, even with Absalom.” All the people heard when the king commanded all the captains concerning Absalom.

Le roi donna cet ordre à Joab, à Abischaï et à Ittaï: Pour l'amour de moi, doucement avec le jeune Absalom! Et tout le peuple entendit l'ordre du roi à tous les chefs au sujet d'Absalom.
