T he woman took and spread the covering over the well’s mouth, and spread out bruised grain on it; and nothing was known.

وفرشَتْ زَوْجَةُ الرجلِ فوقَ البئرِ غطاءً، ثمَّ كَسَتْهُ بِالحُبوبِ، حَتَّى بدا كَما لَوْ كانَ كَوْمَةً مِنَ الحُبُوبِ، فَما كانَ مُمْكِناً أنْ يَرَى أحَدٌ يُوناثانَ وَأخِيمَعَصَ.
