I t was so, that when any man came near to do him obeisance, he stretched out his hand, and took hold of him, and kissed him.

وَإذا جاءَ شَخْصٌ إلَى أبشالوم وَانحَنَى أمامَهُ، كانَ يُعامِلُهُ كَما لَوْ كانَ صديقاً حَميماً. فَكانَ يَقْتَرِبُ منْهُ، ويُمْسِكُ بِهِ وَيُقبِّلُهُ.
