T he king said, “Is the hand of Joab with you in all this?” The woman answered, “As your soul lives, my lord the king, no one can turn to the right hand or to the left from anything that my lord the king has spoken; for your servant Joab urged me, and he put all these words in the mouth of your servant;

– Oare mâna lui Ioab nu este ea cu tine în toate acestea? a întrebat-o regele. – Viu este sufletul tău, o, rege, stăpânul meu, că nimeni nu se poate abate nici la dreapta nici la stânga de la tot ceea ce a zis stăpânul meu, regele, i-a răspuns femeia. Într-adevăr, slujitorul tău, Ioab, mi-a poruncit şi tot el a pus în gura slujitoarei tale toate aceste cuvinte.
