2 Samuel 12:18 ~ II Sa-mu-ên 12:18

O n the seventh day, the child died. David’s servants were afraid to tell him that the child was dead, for they said, “Behold, while the child was yet alive, we spoke to him, and he didn’t listen to our voice. How will he then harm himself, if we tell him that the child is dead?”

Ngày thứ bảy đứa trẻ chết. Các tôi tớ của Đa-vít ngại cho người biết đứa trẻ đã chết; vì họ nói rằng: Lúc đứa trẻ còn sống, chúng tôi có khuyên giải vua, vua không khứng nghe chúng tôi; vậy làm sao chúng tôi lại dám nói cùng vua rằng đứa trẻ đã chết? Có lẽ vua rủi ro!
