F orty days were fulfilled for him, for that is how many the days it takes to embalm. The Egyptians wept for him for seventy days.

وَأمضُوا أيّامَ التَّحنِيطِ الأرْبَعِينَ. وَبَكَى عَلَيهِ المِصْرِيُّونَ سَبْعِينَ يَوماً.
