T here was no bread in all the land; for the famine was very severe, so that the land of Egypt and the land of Canaan fainted by reason of the famine.

En ninguna parte del país había pan, y el hambre era muy grave. Por causa del hambre decayeron la tierra de Egipto y la tierra de Canaán.
