T he sons of Zilpah (Leah’s servant): Gad and Asher. These are the sons of Jacob, who were born to him in Paddan Aram.

وَابْناهُ مِنْ زِلْفَةَ، خادِمَةِ لَيئَةَ، هُما جادُ وَأشِيرُ. هَؤُلاءِ هُمْ أولادُ يَعقُوبَ الَّذِينَ أنجَبَهُمْ فِي فَدَّانَ أرامَ.
