L aban said to Jacob, “Because you are my brother, should you therefore serve me for nothing? Tell me, what will your wages be?”

ثُمَّ قالَ لابانُ لِيَعْقُوبَ: «لا يُعقَلُ أنْ تَخدِمَنِي مَجّاناً لِأنَّكَ قَرِيبِي. فَأخبِرْنِي ماذا تُرِيدُ أنْ يَكُونَ أجرُكَ.»
