Y ahweh, the God of heaven, who took me from my father’s house, and from the land of my birth, who spoke to me, and who swore to me, saying, ‘I will give this land to your offspring. He will send his angel before you, and you shall take a wife for my son from there.

El Señor, el Dios de los cielos, me sacó de la casa de mi padre y de la tierra de mis parientes; él mismo me habló, y con juramento me dijo: “Esta tierra se la daré a tu descendencia”, así que él enviará a su ángel delante de ti, y de allá tomarás una mujer para mi hijo.
