T o Eber were born two sons. The name of the one was Peleg, for in his days the earth was divided. His brother’s name was Joktan.

Lui Eber i s'au născut doi fii: numele unuia era Peleg, numit aşa pentru că pe vremea lui s'a împărţit pămîntul; iar numele fratelui său era Ioctan.
