V ậy, hắn ra đứng kêu la cùng đội ngũ Y-sơ-ra-ên rằng: Cớ sao các ngươi ra bày trận? Ta há chẳng phải là người Phi-li-tin, còn các ngươi, là tôi tớ của Sau-lơ sao? Hãy chọn một người trong các ngươi xuống đấu địch cùng ta.

And he stood and cried to the ranks of Israel, and said to them, Why are ye come out to set your battle in array? am not I the Philistine, and ye servants of Saul? choose for yourselves a man, and let him come down to me.
