V ới lễ Vượt-qua, chớ ăn bánh pha men; trong bảy ngày ngươi sẽ ăn bánh không men, tức là bánh hoạn nạn, đặng giữ lễ ấy, vì ngươi ra khỏi xứ Ê-díp-tô vội vàng; hầu cho trọn đời ngươi nhớ ngày mình đã ra khỏi xứ Ê-díp-tô.

You shall eat no leavened bread with it; for seven days you shall eat it with unleavened bread, the bread of affliction—for you fled from the land of Egypt in haste—that all the days of your life you may remember the day when you came out of Egypt.
