V ua Hê-rốt thấy mình đã bị mấy thầy bác sĩ đánh lừa, thì tức giận quá, bèn sai giết hết thảy con trai từ hai tuổi sấp xuống ở thành Bết-lê-hem và cả hạt, theo đúng ngày tháng mà mấy thầy bác sĩ đã cho vua biết.

Then Herod, when he saw that he was mocked of the wise men, was exceeding wroth, and sent forth, and slew all the children that were in Bethlehem, and in all the coasts thereof, from two years old and under, according to the time which he had diligently inquired of the wise men.
