t hì A-xa-ria, con trai Hô-sa-gia, và Giô-ha-nan, con trai Ca-rê-át, cùng mọi người kiêu ngạo nói với Giê-rê-mi rằng: Ngươi nói dối! Đức Giê-hô-va Đức Chúa Trời chúng ta chưa hề sai ngươi truyền cho chúng ta rằng: Chớ sang nước Ê-díp-tô mà trú ngụ;

Then Azariah son of Hoshaiah and Johanan son of Kareah and all the proud and insolent men said to Jeremiah, You are not telling the truth! The Lord our God has not sent you to say, Do not go into Egypt to dwell there temporarily.
