G iê-rê-mi bèn tâu vua Sê-đê-kia rằng: Nếu tôi tỏ cho vua điều ấy, vua há chẳng giết tôi sao? còn nếu tôi khuyên vua, chắc vua chẳng nghe tôi.

And Jeremiah said unto Zedekiah, If I declare unto thee, wilt thou not certainly put me to death? and if I give thee counsel, thou wilt not hearken unto me.
