H ễ khi dân Ngài bị khốn khổ, chính Ngài cũng khốn khổ, và thiên sứ trước mặt Ngài đã cứu họ rồi. Chính Ngài đã lấy lòng yêu đương thương xót mà chuộc họ. Ngài đã ẵm bồng, và mang họ trong các ngày thuở xưa.

In all their affliction he was afflicted, and the angel of his presence saved them: in his love and in his pity he redeemed them; and he bare them, and carried them all the days of old.
