V ậy, những người đã bị bắt làm phu tù được trở về làm theo điều đã nhứ-định. Người ta chọn E-xơ-ra, thầy tế lễ, và mấy trưởng tộc, tùy theo tông tộc mình, hết thảy đều gọi đích danh. Ngày mồng một tháng mười, chúng ngồi đặng tra xét việc nầy.

But the exiles did so. And Ezra the priest selected men who were heads of fathers’ households for each of their father’s households, all of them by name. So they convened on the first day of the tenth month to investigate the matter.
