N gười bèn bắt thái tử, là kẻ phải kế vị mình, dâng làm của lễ thiêu tại trên vách thành. Bèn có cơn thạnh nộ nổi phừng cùng Y-sơ-ra-ên; thì họ lìa khỏi vua Mô-áp, và trở về xứ mình.

And he took his eldest son, that should have reigned in his stead, and offered him up for a burnt-offering upon the wall. And there was great wrath against Israel; and they departed from him, and returned to land.
