C ác đầy tứ Bên-Ha-đát tâu cùng người rằng: Chúng tôi có nghe rằng các vua nhà Y-sơ-ra-ên vốn nhân từ. Vì vậy, xin cho chúng tôi thắt bao nơi lưng, vấn dây trên đầu, rồi chúng tôi ra hàng vua Y-sơ-ra-ên: hoặc người để cho vua sống chăng.

And his servants said unto him, Behold now, we have heard that the kings of the house of Israel are merciful kings: let us, I pray thee, put sackcloth on our loins, and ropes upon our heads, and go out to the king of Israel: peradventure he will save thy life.
