C ó một người thoát được chạy đến báo điều đó cùng Áp-ram, là người Hê-bơ-rơ. Áp-ram ở tại lùm cây dẻ bộp của Mam-rê, là người A-mô-rít, anh của Ếch-côn và A-ne; ba người nầy đã có kết-ước cùng Áp-ram.

And one who had escaped came and told Abram the Hebrew. And he dwelt by the oaks of Mamre the Amorite, the brother of Eshcol, and the brother of Aner. And these were Abram's allies.
