Т ак говорить Господь до Свого помазанця Кіра: Я міцно тримаю тебе за правицю, щоб перед обличчям твоїм повалити народи, і з стегон царів розв'яжу пояси, щоб відчинити двері перед тобою, а брами не будуть замикані.

Thus says the Lord to Cyrus His anointed, Whom I have taken by the right hand, To subdue nations before him And to loose the loins of kings; To open doors before him so that gates will not be shut:
