К оли він говорив був отак: Крапчасте буде заплата твоя, то й котяться всі овечки та кози крапчасті. А коли скаже так: Пасасте буде заплата твоя, то й котяться всі овечки та кози пасасті.

If he said thus: ‘The speckled shall be your wages,’ then all the flocks bore speckled. And if he said thus: ‘The streaked shall be your wages,’ then all the flocks bore streaked.
