Т ак филистимляне были побеждены и не вторгались больше в землю израильтян. Пока был жив Самуил, рука Господа была обращена против филистимлян.

So the Philistines were beaten. They did not come into the land of Israel again. And the hand of the Lord was against the Philistines all the days of Samuel’s life.
