Т огда в городской стене была пробита брешь, и все войско бежало. Они покинули город ночью, хотя халдеи окружали город, пройдя через ворота между двумя стенами, что рядом с царским садом, и направились к иорданской долине.

then is the city broken up, and all the men of war flee, and go forth from the city by night, the way of the gate between the two walls, that by the king's garden -- and the Chaldeans by the city round about -- and they go the way of the plain.
