К огда все военачальники и их люди, оставшиеся в этой стране, услышали, что царь Вавилона назначил Гедалию, сына Ахикама, наместником над страной, и что ему поручили заботы о мужчинах, женщинах и детях, которые были самыми бедными в стране и не были угнаны в плен в Вавилон,

And all the heads of the forces that in the field hear, they and their men, that the king of Babylon hath appointed Gedaliah son of Ahikam over the land, and that he hath charged him men, and women, and infants, and of the poor of the land, of those who have not been removed to Babylon;
