К огда Иегудий прочитывал три или четыре столбца свитка, царь отрезал их писарским ножом и бросал в камин. Он делал так до тех пор, пока в огне не сгорел весь свиток.

When Jehudi had read three or four parts, the king cut them with a small knife and threw them into the fire in the fireplace. He did this until the book was destroyed in the fire.
