Ездра 10:2 ~ Ezra 10:2

Ш екания, сын Иехиила, один из потомков Елама, обратился к Ездре, сказав: – Мы нарушили верность нашему Богу, женившись на чужеземках из народов, что вокруг нас. Но даже теперь у Израиля еще есть надежда.

And Shecaniah son of Jehiel, of the sons of Elam, said to Ezra: We have broken faith and dealt treacherously against our God and have married foreign women of the peoples of the land; yet now there is still hope for Israel in spite of this thing.
